Returns and Refund
Please be aware that most of our vintage clothing is pre worn and can date back as far as the 1930s. We do our best to determine the correct era on each individual garment. Due to the age of our stock, garments may show signs of natural wear and sometimes they may carry faint odors due to age. Any major flaws will be shown in our listing photos. We recommend washing or dry cleaning items before use.
If you wish to exchange or return an item, please contact us using the ‘Contact us’ link located at the bottom of each page.
We accept returns within 14 days of purchase for store credit only. We do not issue cash or money back refunds. The item(s) must be in the original condition in which you received them. You must contact us within 4 days of receiving the item(s) with your reason for return. When we receive your item we will issue you with a store credit minus delivery costs. You have an unlimited time to use your store credit. It does not expire. We will do our best to resolve any problems you may have with any item.
Postage and Handling
When you buy from 2nd Hand Land you could be buying from anywhere around Australia. Your item may come from across the country or it could come from around the corner. To make things easier we have a standard shipping rate for all Australians.
Postage on all clothing items will have a $9.50 postage fee. Jewelry will have a $5.50 postage fee. This cost includes insurance. As well as postage
We use Australia Post Click and Send courier services. It is a door-to-door delivery service with parcel tracking for peace of mind. Please allow 10 working days for the delivery of your item.
Multiple items:
Unless you buy all your items from the same seller unfortunately we cannot do combined shipping. However if you do buy from the same seller we will try to combine items if it is possible. Satchels have a 3kg limit so for example if you buy two items which have a combined weight of up to 3 kg from the same seller you will be eligible for combined shipping. But if you buy an extra large item like an overcoat and another smaller item then the seller will have to use 2 satchels.

We will not be held responsible for lost packages. Once satchels have been posted they are the responsibility of Australia Post. We will do our utmost to keep track of the parcel and we will keep all relevant paperwork in the off chance that we may need to chase a lost package.
Contact us here if you feel your parcel is lost. We can use the post office tracking system to hunt down your parcel. We will try our utmost to recover your goods.
2nd Hand Land uses Pay Pal as a secure method of payment. This ensures peace of mind for you as no financial information is disclosed to us or any other third parties.
Pay Pal is a safe, secure and reliable way to pay. You are not required to hold an account with them to pay and you can use your credit/debit card through their service quickly and easily.
